Treasure Coast Designs & Web Hosting
If you are looking to create your own website here are the 3 things you need and in this order:
1. Domain Name - $10 to $20 (preferably with an ICANN accredited registrar)
2. Web Hosting - Between $50 and $1,000 annually. Generally $100-$200 for most people.
3. Web Design - Between $100 and $10,000 annually. Generally $300-$500 for most people.
Please make sure you have a domain name registered with an ICANN accredited domain name registrar. Network Solutions or GoDaddy are good choices. Avoid web hosting or web design companies that want to register your domain name for you. Many stories can be found online about good people losing their domain names because of 3rd-rate web hosts trying to pass themselves off as registrars. Take control of your own domain name from the start and go with a reputable registrar, you'll save yourself a lot of time and energy in the long run.
Here is a current list of ICANN accredited registrars.

CSS Main Menu XHTML Bug Fix |

CSS Menu XHTML Bug Fix
I grew extremely tired of looking at the 71 xhtml errors coming from the css main menu so I finally sat down and hammered out a fix. The errors were due to bugs in 2 core files dealing with the new CSS menu for 9.1.2. They did have the proper if file exists script and went through checking for .gif, .jpg, .png, etc.. file types however they didn't properly code in a good method if no image existed at all. So I went in and put in a statement that if nothing existed then it should create a 12x12 blank image using the images/spacer.gif. Spacer.gif is a famous way for developers to get past a missing image. Spacer.gif is a 100% transparent image making it appear as if nothing is there but in fact there is. Since spacer.gif comes with every Dragonfly installation for exactly that purpose why not use it. So I did and all but a few errors went away. Took me about 5 minutes to fix and hopefully will be integrated as a contribution to the core.

Aqua Radio Commercial Theme |

With each new DragonflyCMS version you get to sit back and watch every developer scurry to update their add-ons to be compatible. Since that fateful day our 9.0 commercial themes were taken out of the storefront because they literally became obsolete overnight.
Today TCD is offering it's first commercial theme purchasable from the storefront in nearly a year. If you remember the 9.0 Aqua Radio theme then you'll obviously recognize the 9.1 compliant version and you'll notice the massive improvements.
Aqua Radio features a truly functional Macintosh styled dock using Flash. The flash dock is a freely available script online. The real bit of work was for TCD to take it and mold the icons and links from the recognizable module icons. The links are fully functional and the dock acts like a true mac dock.
Not too many DragonflyCMS themes have active page tabs. When you are viewing a module the active tab turns a different color to show you what module you are viewing. Theme includes 4 tabs for default modules. Home, Forums, Gallery, and Contact. Theme includes blank images if you want to customize differently.
Aqua Radio also comes with:
4 ThemeCP links on the right side header for you to customize.
Header welcome message in top left corner.
Date stamp in top right corner.
9.1.2 Horizontal CSS Menu
Full PSD and Source
As you can see Aqua Radio sets itself apart and enters into the realm of commercial theme quite easily. It's stunning beauty and functionality is enough to make any DragonflyCMS admin drool with desire.
Customization by TCD does not come with the theme. If you like you can purchase a customization service also available through the TCD Store.

Menu Reorganization |
If you are a frequent visitor please take note that our menu options are re-organized into more logical categories and structure.
As a little joke it might remind you of the automated voice message when you call just about every large corporation now; "Please listen carefully as our menu options have changed."

TCD_StyleSwitch Released |

Ever hate the fact that if you want to run multiple colors of the same theme you have to install them individually? Well maybe you haven't thought about it much right? Most people haven't. What if you could get a lot of different colors of the same theme built directly into 1 single theme. Now it's possible with TCD_StyleSwitch. All of the theme designers out there have been waiting to get their hands on something like this.
Imagine combining AcidTechBlue and AcidTechRed into 1 theme then being able to select between them through a color chooser. Theme designers are now able to combine their colors into 1 theme instead of many different ones. The benefits to the average joe is pretty great too. They get multiple color choices for every theme automatically.
What else can StyleSwitch do? You can do much more than just change colors. You can change an entire stylesheet including graphics.
What can't it do? It can't change template layouts. You can only have multiple colors/styles within 1 template still. Maybe someone can work on changing that in the future to include multiple layouts with multiple colors.
This is a good start for DragonflyCMS into opening up themeing possibilities. StyleSwitch is extremely basic for a purpose. It's meant for theme designers primarily to use as a design base in the same way TCD_Default themes are. Expect more complex color changing themes in the near future.
Read the instructions included and enjoy the free theme.
