hi Devon and everyone,

I have two questions ~ am sure they are not as complex but am having some difficulties wiith these...

1) Have not logged to my site for a couple of weeks and forgot my password, tried many possibilities, was in a rush and yeah....when I finally found my password to login as admin...yep ~ it just tells me that I have tried too many times and its an error....so what now? do I just wait for few hours or till tomorrow? or do I need to reset it? if so ~ how?

2) also to do with accessing the site ~ one of my friends became a member, all was fine and then one day, he went to login and it would not let him ~ he tried over a number of days and still nothing ~ he gets a page where it says ~ bad ip ~ what went wrong? (he has not been banned lol)

Devon ~ am rather distressed ~ again ~ so pleaseeeee help!!!

1. remove a_login.php from your /cache/ folder. That will allow you to try 5 more times. You can continually do it too if you have access to your own ftp.

2.sounds like he has possibly been banned yes. you should seek support from the main dragonfly support site on this one. they will tell you how to unban him. remember, do a forum search first for "bad ip" or something similar. maybe someone ran into the same problem before and has the answer. you might not even have to ask a question if you find the answer.

Thank you ~ you are a genius!!!! I have done as you suggested ~ am able to login now to my site and yeah searched for the bad ip error on the other site and here is the link ~ just in case anyone esle is having this problem CLICK HERE
