Dear Devon,

First of all a Happy Newyear (I'm still on time, am I? Very Happy )

Last time I tried to install the content module it didn't work. When you have time ,will you please make a tutorial of it? Thanks in advance!

Greetings, Keires!

Devon, would it take long to make this tutorial? I'm really prepared to donate you something.

I believe I do have a tutorial on installing modules and blocks. It's pretty much the same process. Unless there is something terribly wrong with the module coding (which I doubt because safecracker made it) then you are doing something wrong. Don't forget that most modules (including the content module) require that you put the template files into your theme /template directory.

Yeah indeed you have, I saw the tutorial again and tbh I didn't do anything wrong. The problem is, it doesn't appear in the Modules page, so I can't install it. I checked if all files were in the right map and they are. So I don't know what I'm doing wrong :s

Only thing I can suggest is deleting the module from your ftp and try reuploading. There is no reason that a module shouldn't show up in the module list if it's properly uploaded that I know of. Find another module that you might want and try uploading and installing that too. Perhaps there's something wrong with your Dragonfly core not detecting modules. Other than that I'm clueless as to what could be happening. :\

The other one works... weird, I still have some other questions, can I ask them here, or should I start a new thread... (maybe it's better to start a new thread, so when people have the same question, they find it easily and faster in the forum).

Or I can also put it in a new thread.

Another question: I just installed the Babeoftheday module. First of all, isn't it possible to show a thumbnail (from the babe of that day) on the front of the page. (I hope you understand what I mean). Second, is it possible to give comments or maybe a description on your babe? Third: I would like to change the name into Photo F*cks of the day. I tried and it was quite successful. But the link on the front page is still Babe of the day and I can't find it where you can edit that, same for the link in the address bar.

For so far my questions Very Happy

Thanks in advance!

The link is actually reading the module folder name. You'll have to rename the module folder but it will probably break the module. Go in and find all instances of Babe of the Day or BOTD and change it to what you want.

As for comments and description no my module is not built for that. You should probably look into cmsdreams.co.uk for mPOTD or babe of the day. He has a couple different versions that are much more advanced than mine. My module is for simplicity.

Erm you have to pay for it Surprised Very Happy

Do they also make modules? Can I request a module overthere?
To be honest, I actually prefer to donate u money instead of cmsdreams... you help people alot and you offer free things... Smile

Yes you can request a module over there but you'll probably have to pay for it. CMSDreams used to contribute some excellent free modules. He's since turned them around into only commercial modules. He's contributed just as much free stuff that I have and deserves whatever money comes his way in my opinion. Plus he is a much better module coder than I am. For modules I definitely recommend him. I'm more adept with theme creation. My modules are really basic compared to the stuff he can do.

I can add commenting to the babe of the day sure but I'd charge just as much as his mPOTD so you are really better off going with something from cmsdreams.
